DOUG JOWDY, PhD

After reading my first sport psychology book at the age of 13, I believe a hunger to be curious about the mind-body connection was set into motion. I had no idea that inquisitorial thirst would soon become my “sport” long after my competitive athletic career was over. The degree of  “training and competing” involved in writing this book was as blissful as putting points on the scoreboard back in the day. I hope you enjoy it!

"The thing we fear the most is not that we will shrivel up and become insignificant little people. The thing we fear most is that we could become as big and grand as we are capable of becoming."
